Horsemanship Clinics Learn about horses as an adult. Enjoy a weekend learning at every skill level, from beginner to advanced. This is an academy for those who want to know and understand horses, horsemanship, natural and holistic horse training and European riding skills. It is the next level up from the New Owner Seminar. All of our horses and students learn basic dressage techniques, develop confidence and problem solving skills, and learn to understand and enjoy true horsemanship. By spending the weekend riding and working with horses, you will learn much faster than with a single lesson a week. This emersion technique will also promote confidence. Learn about bits, training techniques, and horse psychology. Spend the weekend doing morning and afternoon clinics and lessons which focus on YOUR needs ~ from basic confidence to advanced problem solving, learning how to buy a horse, and how to understand a horse. See and work with many different horses to understand the range of a horse's thinking. Ride a variety of horses, depending on your skill level, and learn how to work with young horses, problem horses, cure problems in horses, and how to bring out the best in both horse and rider. This weekend is not for the recreational rider, but for those who want to improve their horsemanship fast. You can even bring your own horse. (Horse $25 per day.)
$500 per weekend, per person $800 per per couple $300 per person for groups of three or more. Includes three full training sessions and a recap, review and evaluation Sunday afternoon. Clinic only, does not include lodging or meals. Groups of 3 or more will have a reception on Friday evening, and a BBQ on Sat. Schedule your own weekend.
