All of our horses are well broke, carry their heads well, wear a bridle and can go either in the ring or on the trail. Ride them in the best of company and be proud. All unregistered horses have been vet checked for age ~ no guessing, no misrepresentation. Because teeth are not exact, you may find some difference in opinion a year or two, but our vet is pretty good at age and we want to present the horse as honestly as possible. Our videos are shot for each horse when a video is ordered, so it may take a few days to get it. They are uninterrupted, run about 20 minutes, and start with the saddling. They show the horse at all gaits, and whatever else the horse is capable of. You may request particular attention to something which concerns your needs, just make a note of it on the order form or email us. Videos are now send in DVD format unless VHS is requested. Tessa, 15 years, 13.2h What a hoot! This little gal is as broad as she is tall!! She has been used as a 4-H pony and done a lot of trail rides. She rides western and English and is a willing worker, but will never run off with a child. Her body size is broad enough to carry an adult rider, she looks like a little draft cross!! She was suppose to jump, but she needs a refresher course. We'll get some photos when we get her going again. She has a little age on her, but that just means she has some sense! She will go for another ten years at least, and she'll carry the kids anywhere you want to let them go. And this mare is safe on the trails...she'll lead the way into water, ride at the back or the front, and doesn't mind Tammy's crazy jumper whirling into her! We've got some tough trail...they're mostly deer paths, and a small creek, and a larger one. She enjoyed the ride with a young rider on her.

Cee Sugar Booger (Sugar), 4 yr old, 14h We bought this mare as a 3 year old, because we liked her style and temperament and we thought she would make a GREAT pony. We turned her out to pasture and rode her for the first time in six months and she just went right off. She is quiet and willing and will quietly carry beginners, but she is also athletic and a FANTASTIC jumper! She has a great eye, LOVES jumping and can use her shoulders like a champ. But drop her head and she will walk off down the trail, through water, alone or in a group!! She has a SUPER, flowing, flat kneed movement that will make her a standout in the ring, and she has the mind of a Quarter Horse and the size of a pony!! She is well broke and has no vices. Sugar has a quiet mind and would be perfect for a child or small adult who wants a greatShe's been bred, broke and trained in Pryor, OK, heart of good riding country, and all with the same owner. Great red roan color, she is a standout in any crowd. No spook, no bad habits, lots of good attitude. This great mare has lots of show miles at the big shows and is a GREAT starter horse for a child or adult amateur, and can be a big winner at the state or 4-H level. She is kind, solid and knows her job. She can show on the flat, over fences, event, or dressage. We took her down to a 3' fence and she didn't even blink, just took it in stride and made it look like a crossrail. She's always correct, does flying changes and has perfect manners.
First time out she was Champion in the Winslet Series show. This mare is an excellent Armature or child's jumper, eventer or cross country competitor.
Below are some photos from her previous owner. Unfortunately they are digital so they didn't scan as well as we hoped, ~ the color is off ~ but you can see she is mannerly in the open, cross country, and certainly through water.

Rides Western or English |
When we bought this nice bred mare, we knew she needed some wet saddle blankets. By now we've used her for camps and put a lot of good quality training in her. She has a naturally low head carriage, rides western or English, and is only about 30 days from being a top western pleasure horse. She's smart and willing and enjoys the work. And she is athletic enough to do almost anything. She is coming along well and blossoming into a great mare with a lot of sense and a great temperament.
Cookie goes out on some tough trails, rides quietly in front or in the rear, and crosses creeks (Hidden of course!) You can't see it well, but that is a creek in the first photo. The trails are mostly deer paths, so there's a lot of pushing through branches and undergrowth and she is a champ...even with Tammy's jumper whirling and Tammy yelling at her!! Cookie remained calm. (Last photo, that's Tessa right behind Cookie.)

Cheyenne Ghost, (Horizon) 2001, 15h
Nice color, this mare has been let out and got her mane so matted that they just cut it off....too bad, she will look great when it grows back in! But the important point is that she rode right off like she was used to doing it!! Good mind, ridden on trails and in a ring. Beautiful slow jog, great head carriage and the patience of Mother Theresa! Horizon has been giving beginner lessons this summer and she is quiet enough for anyone.
We've taken her down the road and through water and she goes anywhere you point her. We've been using the mare to lead horses in going down into the creek and over some rough trails. She'll go in the water and wade up stream. She is a quiet ride, has GREAT conformation, a good head, a solid pedigree, nice color, and a big, muscular build! Naturally low head carriage and gaits nice enough to show western pleasure. Solid and dependable meet pretty and gorgeous color!! What more could you ask for in a horse?
This is a great mare and we've had her since May, used her in camps where she was a champ and had WAY more patience with the beginner riders than I do, she did her job every day and loved the kids. After camps were over, we leased her to an older gentleman and by last week we began to suspect she was infoal. A vet check confirmed that she was probably bred in mid-March, but we have not been able to get conformation from the former owners as to what she was bred to or exactly when. Therefore, we have dropped her price. If we can determine more about the breeding, we will keep it posted here. We may simply keep her until after she foals, keep the foal for the campers to play with next summer, and sell the mare at weaning time. There is a good chance the foal will be buckskin.
