KEY TO SYMBOLS:  Here are a few quick "cartoons" to set off the outstanding qualities of some of our horses.  Just because a horse doesn't have a certain symbol doesn't mean he DOESN'T have the quality, but when he DOES have the symbol it is because the trait is OUTSTANDING in that horse.

Chunky Monkey, 12.1h, 2002, blue roan gelding

Chunky Monkey is an excellent find for the child who wants to show, ride trails, do it all.  He has shown on the "A" circuit and been Foxhunting!  Quiet enough for any child, walks, trots, canters.  Does great school patterns and jumps like a packer.  Does 2'6" easily, snaps his knees up and looks great.  Lots of flexion, this pony has some of the training of a good horse.  He's a great teacher with a lot of patience.  He is short, but has a thick body to take up the leg.

If you have a youngster who wants to start showing, this pony is the place to start.  He measures small, but has a very big body and will carry a good size child.  He's a little fuzzy now and his mane is in the half grown out stage ...it had been pulled short to braid.  Get the hair off him and a lot of the mane off and he'll be great looking.

Pop-Tart, 14h, 5 years

This guy is great!  Flashy is his middle name. Big blaze, spots on his large white blaze give him character...and four high white legs.  He has a beautiful light tail.  And he is Quiet and Dependable with capital letters!  He goes out on the trail and is learning to work in the ring.  He learns quickly and wants to please.

We think he will learn to jump quickly and make a fantastic large pony hunter.  Or, he will make a reliable trail partner for an adult who wants a dependable, shorter horse.  He goes through water and picked up cavalitties quickly and he was quite proud of himself.  He's got a great attitude and enjoys life and working with people.

Dino, 14.1h buckskin, 9yrs

Great gelding has always been a trail horse. He is easy to control and meets new situations with confidence. He doesn't have a great frame because he's always been just a trail horse, but for a trail rider he's safe and willing.  Nice size for an adult or child, he could work into a nice 4-H pony with just a little bit of work.

Nice body, beautiful color, he will get attention where ever he goes.
